Again. Contact Your County Chair Ed Henderson to demand a county party meeting. So we can plan To Get Ready for 2018 elections and midterms. The Democrats have a
great chance to take back the US house. We must all work together to help all of our Candidates to win by whatever means necessary. We must stop the State and National Republicans from getting the wrong things pass that only Help the Rich and forget about the little everyday guy and gal.

ABOUT US AS A PARTY
The second party system emerged from a divide in the Democratic-Republican party in 1828. They split off into two groups, the Democrats, led by Andrew Jackson, and the Whigs. In North Carolina, people from the west and northeast supported the Whigs mainly because they wanted education and internal improvements to help with the economy. Meanwhile, Eastern North Carolina was dominated by wealthy planters who tended to oppose activist government. Over time, the Democrats slowly came to support many of the Whig policies on internal improvements. For the first time in history voters were splitting off into one of the two parties. In the 1850s the Whigs were split by the issue of slavery. Former Confederates and Whigs eventually formed the Conservative Party and opposed the reconstruction policies enacted by the U.S. Congress following the Civil War.[2] By 1870, the two main parties were the Conservatives (who changed their name to "Democratic-Conservatives"[3] and then to Democrats by 1876), and the Republicans (GOP).[4]
The Democrats have had a Rich History in Robeson County
We need to get back to that history
The Leadership for the first time in over 4 years is excited again and ready to grow our party for all Democrats in the
County.
I Have spoken with many party leaders locally and statwide and they all Admit  that the county has been in great dismay
No meetings in over 4 years, the county party seems like it has been on life support for quite some time so all of the leaders I spoke to are dispointed and have pledge to work as fast as possible to restore all democrats faith in there county party again.
We will need everyones help and support going forward once meetings start soon we ask everyone that can come to come and we will post  the meetings mintues on the meeting and events page so you will know whats going on.
